It's news that you hope to never receive--learning that your home has caught fire.

Unfortunately, on family in Boise woke up on Saturday night to flames in their home and needing emergency crews to respond, immediately.

Just before 9:00 pm on Saturday night, May 16th, a home here in Boise received significant fire damage from a blaze that is still under investigation by local officials. The photos are terrifying and officials hope that the community can come together to support those impacted.

A GoFundMe has been launched to benefit the family impacted by the unexpected and devastating fire.

In the crowdfunding post, a Boise woman shares her story following the fire:

...I am recently married. I have a 5 year old son. Tonight, my house went up in flames and I lost everything again. My roommates and my family lost everything we had to our name in the fire. My husband and I are trying to find a way to rebuild. So we are asking for help and prayers. Anything will help my family.

As of this publishing, just shy of $2,000 has been raised.

Here's a look at the fire that took place on Saturday night
