Colorful Idaho Field Goes Viral And This Time It’s Not The Blue

When people think of colored turf fields there brains often come her to Idaho. Boise State is home to The Blue turf and it one of the most iconic parts of the entire city. People from all over the country come to Boise just to see this blue turf! This past year they even ended up selling pieces of it online and people were spending thousands of dollars for it.

But now a new colored field is getting all of the attention and this time it's not Boise State's Blue Turf even though it is right down the road...

The College of Idaho's baseball field is now going viral online.

The College of Idaho's baseball field is now getting a ton of attention online after the MLB Instagram account posted a video of it. There baseball field is super special considering it's... PURPLE!

This field is one-of-a-kind similarly to The Blue. However The College of Idaho field isn't completely purple! the infield is purple turf and the rest of it includes a green-striped turf in field and regular grass outfield.

The people online are loving this field not just because of its cool looks but also because of the fun story behind the turf. The College of Idaho got most of its turf out of recycled tires from a place right down the street from the school. Not only is this turf purple but a lot of it is also locally sourced!
