Concert season in the Treasure Valley is all but gone these days. Where there are certainly plenty of fun live shows coming up to various venues in the next few weeks this Fall--the sheer volume of concerts and tours rolling through the Treasure Valley is a fraction of what we see when it's warm outside.

Summer of 2026? It feels like a long time from now but venues are already announcing big shows for the return of our beloved 'concert season' in the Treasure Valley.

Just announced this morning by Boise State University's ExtraMile Arena--a major comedy tour is going to be stopping by this coming summer!

In a release from ExtraMile Arena, the following accolades were shared of the famous stand-up comedian:

Jim Gaffigan is an eight-time Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy winning top touring performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life. His 11th special, The Skinny, premiered on Hulu last winter as the streamer’s first ever original stand up special for their new comedy vertical, Hularious, and garnered almost 100 million clip views online.

It's fair to say he's kind of a big deal!

Set for June 11th, 2026 -- Gaffigan joins other comedy legend, Jeff Dunham, on the list of big comedy shows coming to the arena! Dunahm will be there in March.

Looking to get your hands on tickets?

Seats will open up on Friday, November 7th at 10:00 a.m. but artist pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, November 5th. Check out Gaffigan's website to get access to that exclusive presale.

Another very popular comedian, Adam Sandler, was just in Boise a week ago and had a sold-out Idaho Center absolutely laughing!
