In an effort to get into shape before 'bathing suit season' officially begins, many of us have taken up dieting, exercising, fasting, and cutting back on guilty pleasures.

The formula for losing weight--so they say--is to avoid consuming more calories than burning off, and the College of Southern Idaho is a great place to begin the process of getting lake and river ready. The campus's challenge course is a place you might also want to check out.

The inspiration to lose weight comes in all forms in the springtime. Healthy friends, commercials, graduation gatherings, our reflections in the mirror in a towel, getting our asses handed to us by our lawnmowers, and skyrocketing triglycerides are all examples of factors in life that motivate humans to drop some poundage.
