Don’t Join This TikTok Trend in Idaho, Washington, and Utah
Social media is a major part of many people's lives. Some use it to make a living, others use it to pass time at work, in school, sitting at appointments, or killing time at home. There are benefits to social media, but it can also be a burden as well. Some are constantly on it and rely on it to function day-to-day. Some enjoy watching videos and creating memes, while others like to make their videos and try out the latest trend. Some trends are fun and harmless, while others are not a good idea and shouldn't be trends to begin with. There is one TikTok trend taking place right now that is getting out of hand and could end up getting you in trouble in Idaho, Washington, or Utah if you decide to try it yourself.
'A Minecraft Movie' TikTok Trend in Idaho, Washington, and Utah
'A Minecraft Movie' has been in theaters for a little bit now, and is crushing it at the box offices. It is America's number-one movie back-to-back weekends and is continuing to bring in big crowds. While the movie has brought in hundreds of millions of dollars and reviews have been mostly positive, that isn't what most are talking about. A trend has taken over the internet the last week and this new social media trend is causing chaos in theaters all across Idaho, Washington, and Utah. In the video above, you will see during a scene in the movie the crowd erupts as the words 'Chicken Jockey' are said. Popcorn goes flying, drinks are being thrown, and in the case of the video above, a chicken was brought into a theater in Provo, Utah. It has caused cops to be called, movies to be stopped, and moviegoers to be kicked out of the cinema.
Chicken Jokey in 'A Minecraft Movie'
Why is this trend happening, and what is a chicken jokey? For those unfamiliar with Minecraft, you may be asking the question what is a chicken jockey? It is when a baby zombie is riding on a chicken in the game. The occurrence is so rare in the game that there is less than a one percent chance to see one. With the odds being so low to see a chicken jockey in the video game, many fans of the game are getting overly excited to finally see one, since it could be the first time that they have. It doesn't excuse the trashing of theaters and disrupting a movie. When the director of the movie was asked about the trend sweeping over the internet, he let it be known that he is a fan of it and as long as nobody gets hurt, he is happy that fans of the movie are creating memories.

If you haven't seen 'A Minecraft Movie' yet, it is currently showing at theaters nationwide. Be warned, your theater may go crazy when the scene mentioned above takes place, and could lead to people in your theater being ejected or the movie being shut down. Do not attempt to recreate this trend, and instead enjoy the movie.
