VIDEO: Status Of 4 Involved In Idaho Air Show Crash Unknown
Like many of you, I was in shock early afternoon on Sunday when I started getting word of a crash involving two jets at the Mountain Home Air Force Base air show in southern Idaho.
Several videos taken by attendees of the 2026 Gunfighter Skies Air Show conveyed the shock and horror following a crash involving four pilots at the May 17 event, 44 miles southeast of Boise.
Parachutes, falling jet debris, and a black plume of smoke could be seen in the amateur footage that went viral in a matter of minutes following the mid-air collision between two Navy EA-18 Growler fighter jets that happened just after noon on Sunday, as people were still arriving at the event.
The condition of the military service personnel involved in the accident is unknown, but it has been reported that all arrived safely at a nearby medical center, according to details shared by WRAL News.

The footage showed the two aircraft contacting each other while pilots attempted a maneuver, but no explosion of any kind took place until the jets struck the ground seconds after the four pilots ejected. It's a miracle that all involved were able to exit the planes following the violent collision.
