In-N-Out Officially a Go in Twin Falls, But in the Wrong Location?
After months and months of rumors, it is finally happening. In-N-Out is officially coming to Twin Falls. For most, this should not be a surprise, but with how many rumors have floated around through the years, it is always nice to get confirmation and hear something is official. Many have let their opinions be heard throughout the last year, and while many are excited to have In-N-Out in town, there are also many who are not excited to see it in the Magic Valley. No matter how the people feel, it is coming. With In-N-Out officially coming to Twin Falls, it is fair to ask, did they pick the wrong location?
In-N-Out Taking Over Outback Location
It has long been rumored that In-N-Out would be taking over the Outback location, but with the popular restaurant still in business, the question was, how long until In-N-Out would move in? Outback stood firm and continuously let it be known that they weren't going anywhere and planned to continue to serve their customers in the Magic Valley. On Saturday, August 23, that all changed when Outback closed its doors and announced it would no longer be serving Twin Falls. It didn't take long for In-N-Out to wrap things up and officially announce it would be taking over the location. Things still need to be done before burgers are being flipped in the Magic Valley, and once ground breaks, it'll take roughly 8 to 9 months before the popular chain is open for business.
In-N-Out in Twin Falls Chose the Wrong Location
Countless stories have been written over the last year debating where In-N-Out would make the most sense in the Magic Valley, but ultimately, they got the spot they desired. However, when Johnny Carino's closed at the beginning of the year, it raised questions about whether it could be the location instead. For a day or two with both Outback and Johnny Carino's closed, a debate ensued. Which location would make more sense? While Outback was the desired location, with Swig having long lines, Mo Bettahs having a steady crowd, and a parking lot that isn't the biggest, one can argue that Johnny Carino's made more sense. There is more space, less traffic, and still in the same area. The current location will make it tough to get in and out of Mo Bettahs and Swig, as well as block potential people attempting to go to Petco.

Time will tell if Outback is the right call, but a strong case could be made that Johnny Carino's makes more sense, and had In-N-Out gone with that location, they would be further in the process and flipping burgers in Twin Falls much sooner. No matter what the public thinks, In-N-Out is on its way and will be taking over Outback sometime in the near future.
