Have You Tried The New Restaurant Now Open in the Magic Valley?

The Magic Valley is home to many great eating options. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and nobody will go hungry or be disappointed with the selections when visiting or living in the area. It is always nice to see new places come in though, and offer more options. There can never be enough choices when it comes to food. Throughout the years many places have come and gone, but it is always exciting to see a new place move into town. It is always exciting to try a new place, and a new restaurant recently opened that if you haven't tried yet, you might want to check out and give it a try.

New Mexican Restaurant in the Magic Valley

The Magic Valley Mall has experienced significant turnover over the past couple of years, including the food court. Many new places have moved in, and another one just opened and will call the mall home. Tacos El Chalo officially opened on Wednesday, August 6, in the Magic Valley Mall and is located at the end of the food court where Phat Pat's was recently located. While the restaurant is new to Twin Falls, they are not new to the area, as they were recently operating out of Jerome, but decided to try a new location. The owner, Gonzalo Lopez, has been in the food industry for over 30 years and has been serving customers in Idaho for a while.

Many residents in the Magic Valley have been asking for Mexican restaurants to have more options, and Tacos El Chalo could be the place that many have been asking for. They have a variety of options with different types of tacos, tortas, asada fries, quesadillas, and more. You can check out the menu above. What separates Tacos el Chalo from any other place, though, is their salsa. Gonzalo makes his salsa, having created his recipe many years ago. You can choose red or green and know you are going to get something special. His food is so good that years ago, he won a cooking show, which helped him win the money to start his restaurant.

If you haven't been to the Magic Valley Mall recently, you may want to go for some good tacos. They are open during mall hours, which are from 10 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday. The next time you are shopping in the mall and get hungry, stop by and get some food on your way out.
