Idaho Teen Desperately Seeks Kidney As Health Declines
An Idaho teenager and recent graduate is desperately seeking a kidney donation. Perhaps you are a match for her.

Let me introduce you to Brook Devers. She needs a kidney very badly.
Idaho Teen Awaiting Kidney Donor
I was recently at a work event and learned about Brook's situation from a coworker. It's not often I get to write about meaningful subject matter, but I'm proud to have the ability to help get the word out about this Idaho girl's daily battle to stay alive. Her story has been shared on multiple southern Idaho Meta sites, including Gooding Idaho News Share.

There are an estimated 103,000 Americans on the National Kidney Transplant Waitlist, according to National Kidney Transplant Foundation data. This list is made up of human of all ages, and sometimes it can take more than five years to find a match. Many on the list don't have five months of life left, let alone five years.

Sadly, between 10 and 15 people awaiting a healthy organ die daily, according to the NKTF. Healthy people can live a perfectly normal life with just one kidney, and it takes a special person to come forward and offer to donate one.
