Idaho Witches, Warlocks Invited To Join CA Paddleboard Parade

An annual event that brings together the spirit of Halloween and ocean paddleboarding in California is set to take place in about eight weeks. Idaho men and women who want to participate just need to point their broomsticks southwest and pack some extra clothes.

The Annual Witches and Warlocks Paddle will take place on October 26 in Morro Bay, California, 230 miles south of San Francisco. According to the event's official website, it is also a fundraiser for the area food bank coalition.

Despite what Idahoans may think of most people from California, this event brings together lovers of Halloween and helping people in need. Morro Bay is known for its incredible kayaking and paddleboarding, which are two activities that many Idahoans enjoy taking part in. I know this because I've spent years on lakes and rivers in central and southern Idaho and witnessed the number of people who load paddleboards and kayaks up for weekends away.
