WATCH: Bison Harassed By Yellowstone Tourons Exposed By Bikers
Yellowstone National Park is known for its incredible thermal pools, geysers, variety of wildlife, backcountry excursions, and unfortunately, dumbass tourists. Recently, a group of bikers passing through West Yellowstone recorded a motorist harassing a bison that was strolling down the road minding its own business.
I have had some truly unforgettable memories while taking my family to Yellowstone National Park. I managed to take a snowmobile tour through the western portion of the park years ago, and I still talk about it often around friends and family. It was an experience I hope to get the chance to recreate before I die.
The driver no doubt was attempting to get a closeup photo of the animal and was completely ignorant to the fact the dog was bullying the bison in its own natural habitat.

Along with these wonderful memories I have of the park, there are also ones that are reminders that some human beings should never get the chance to enjoy something as majestic as Yellowstone. Tourons taking selfies within a few feet of wildlife is something you'll see everytime you go to the park, and regardless of how many injuries take place annually from actions such as these, people still do it daily.
A video I recently discovered on YouTube shows some motorcyclists coming up on a motorist who had stopped in the middle of the roadway to allow his/her dog to ferociously bark at a wandering bison from just feet away. The driver no doubt was attempting to get a closeup photo of the animal and was completely ignorant to the fact the dog was bullying the bison in its own natural habitat.
People who commit these types of actions should be fined heavily if caught. Unfortunately, with the recent wave of layoffs to our country's park service personnel, these thoughtless actions will likely go on unpunished and unnoticed.
