The trailer and release date for the upcoming new season of the popular drama series Yellowstone have both been released by Paramount, and I know many of my Twin Falls friends that are die-hard fans are beyond excited.

If you happened to miss the 2022 MTV Video Awards last night, you're not alone. I didn't even know the network still plays music videos. The highlight of tuning in Sunday night wasn't the fact that Bad Bunny won Artist of the Year, or that the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed, or even that the Foo Fighters won Best Rock Song, but instead, fans of Yellowstone got to see the trailer for season five.

My wife wanted to watch the award show because she's a massive Red Hot Chili Peppers fan. We just saw the band perform live a couple of weeks ago in the Bay Area, and Flea, Anthony Kiedis, and the guys are planning to drop their second album of 2022 in a few weeks. The only time I looked up from my computer during the entire show was when the Yellowstone sneak peek played.

The new season will get underway on November 13 with a two-hour special, according to information shared by tvguide.com. The date was also confirmed on the program's official Instagram page. I don't think there's a single person I work with in Twin Falls that hasn't been watching the show since it debuted in 2018.
