Man Awarded $8,000 After Enduring 30 Minutes Trapped On It’s A Small World At Disneyland

I am afraid to even write this story because I know the song will be stuck in my head the rest of the day...dang - too late. We all know the Disneyland ride "It's A Small World" with it's creepy animatronic children from across the world singing in all languages that mind numbing, ever looping song! Normally the ride and the song are just a few minutes long (thankfully). That was not the case for this guy. The ride broke and he got stuck inside for 30 minutes while the crew fixed it. He couldn't escape because he is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair. Once he was finally released from the terror ride it took him another 3 hours to fully recover from the panic and mental anguish of the ride. You hear that terrorists? If you mess with us you'll get 30 minutes in Disneyland and you'll tell all your secrets to us!!! The guy ended up suing (because that is what we do nowadays) and won a whopping $8,000. So, maybe not a gigantic payout but enough for a good pair of earplugs.
