NYC Construction Worker Sings Sinatra on Lunch Break – And He’s Incredible! [VIDEO]
Though it’s long been rumored that Frank Sinatra had links to ‘the construction business,’ we’re pretty sure this isn’t what most people imagined.
On a sweltering New York City Monday, Queens native and construction worker Gary Russo offered up a refreshing break from the seemingly endless construction of NYC’s new Second Avenue subway line (expected to be completed in 2014), serenading passing New Yorkers with a Sinatra tune during his lunch break.
Russo’s spot-on rendition of the Old Blue Eyes classic ‘Summer Wind,’ was sung into an old-fashioned mic at the work site and a handwritten sign behind him encouraged his audience to “forget all the noise, traffic and impact of the 2nd Ave subway” and “enjoy the music [and] hard hats.”
