There was a Star Trek episode where all the combatants discovered they had common ancestors.  The humans, Ferengi, Romulans and Klingons all race to a planet where they expect to unlock a secret.  A hologram pops up and explains all their worlds were seeded with the DNA of a long gone civilization.  It was a means for the ancestors to live on across the universe.

The antagonists all refuse to believe they could be related and stomp their feet and head back to their ships.

Not like the giant bug from Men in Black.  Instead, DNA may have been propelled across the galaxy and then seeded earth.

Fiction could be the reality.  The San Francisco Chronicle has a story about a growing theory.  Aliens could be living among us.  Not like the giant bug from Men in Black.  Instead, DNA may have been propelled across the galaxy and then seeded earth.

If you can read this link you can get more details.  I read it once but when I went to look at it a second time I encountered a paywall.

The scientists believe ancient beings may have solved many of the troubles associated with traveling across light years.  Of course, if they were dropping DNA into the waters it may not exactly have resulted in intelligent life.  I gather the professors believe there are actual thinking beings among us and would somehow bear a resemblance to human beings.

After all, your dog may sometimes appear intelligent but he still drinks from the toilet and eats his own…

Or maybe your dog is just playing the role of dimwit, although.  They can’t clasp much with paws.  Steering a craft would be difficult.
