UPDATE: Female Teen Killed in a Rollover Crash South of Boise, ID
UPDATE 1/30/24 9:30 PM: Idaho State Police have updated the report on the first accident, the female teen has passed away from her injuries. The new report also states that she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
ORIGINAL STORY: There were two separate single-vehicle rollover accidents reported by Idaho State Police on Idaho roads over the weekend with striking similarities. Both happened Sunday evening, both were headed westbound, and both happened right around 7:30 PM.
In both accidents, the drivers were not wearing seatbelts and were transported to local hospitals.
Female Boise Teen Injured in Single Vehicle Rollover Accident
The other rollover accident reported by Idaho State Police Sunday happened at 7:29 PM in Ada County on I84 at milepost 60.
An 18-year-old-female, of Boise, was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima westbound when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned into the median.
The female driver was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
A California Driver Was Injured in an Idaho Rollover Accident
Idaho State Police are investigating an accident that happened Sunday at 7:33 PM in Canyon County at the intersection of Hoskins and Karcher Roads.
A 30-year-old male, from Sacramento, CA, was traveling westbound on Karcher Rd. in a 2007 Lexus sedan. The vehicle left the right shoulder near Hoskins Rd. and overturned.
The driver was transported with injuries by air ambulance to the hospital. The Hoskins Road and Karcher Road intersection is halfway through a 90-degree curve on Highway 55 where Karcher becomes Sunny Slope Road and Hoskins Road ends.

Both accidents are under investigation by Idaho State Police.
