Responsible dog ownership is a wonderful calling. Wherever the dog begins, the fact that it ends up in a happy home is the ultimate goal. Some owners are just better than others.

Are you looking for your next best friend? The one that is going to be there for you whenever you need them? There is a dog meet and greet Saturday July 24th at PetSmart in Twin Falls. The event is being held by a Twin Falls animal rescue.

I know, I know, who doesn't love a puppy?! Everyone loves puppies. I definitely love puppies. But old dogs are the best dogs to adopt from a rescue. Just hear me out on this one, especially if you are a dog lover like I am.

Rivi is a 4-5 year old female Labrador. She's extremely friendly and quite a bit silly and she does really well with other dogs and cats. She also love the water, and even though she is tall she still love playing around like a puppy!

'Wallflower' is a 6-8 month old female collie/shepherd blend. She's very social and sweet and gets along with other dogs. She loves to give kisses and sit right on your feet and she would love to be a part of your family!

This is String Bean - a four month old Pointer/Lab mix, found in the wild of Rogerson. She got her name by being the cutest, bean-pole-legged puppy! String Bean's interests include: wet kisses, tom-foolery, prancing, being read to, helping with paperwork, and spreading joy.

'Meggie' is a young adult border collie blend.  She is a very sweet and easy going girl who gets along great with other dogs.  She is a smart girl and will soak up any thing you have to teach her.

'Yopi' is a puppy looking for a home to call his own! He is a 4 month old male Labrador/Border Collie blend. He loves to run and play and snuggle and tug and chew! He's very social and happy to meet everyone!

Marta and Gretel are feline sisters looking for a home. They are both very easy going and sweet (and not at all grumpy like the pictures would imply). Marta is a little more outgoing and will climb into your arms for attention and Gretel tends to sit quietly and allow you to come to her.
