The Magic Valley Airshow was a few weeks ago, and I’m still floored by how amazing it was. I’m also amazed that there was a performance that wasn’t publicized and that very few people saw. It involved jets, LED Lights, and fireworks.

Some fun events are happening this weekend around the Magic Valley to get out and celebrate the end of summer or the first week of school being done.

The 75th Annual Magic Valley Air Show is June 17th. No need to be concerned about tickets for each person in the family, or if there is a different price for adults, seniors, children, aliens, or the family sasquatch.

Gowen Thunder 2021 will take place on August 28th and 29th with attendance expected around 150,000.

This weekend, the Idaho National Guard will host an open house and air show for the first time in 20 years. Gowen Thunder is set for Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Boise airfield.

Seven years ago, when the Blue Angels came to Twin Falls for an airshow, I was lucky enough to fly in one of their jets and it was intense.
