People wanting to go for a dip or go fishing at the popular Dierkes Lake will have to wait a while longer as city officials determine the cause of a color change that happened before the weekend

Dierkes Lake is closed until further notice, the city of Twin Falls said on Friday. The closure is because of an unknown discoloration in Dierkes and Hidden lakes.

All events offered will be free of charge, and include kayaking, fishing, archery, hiking and more.

Fish and Game will provide poles and you don’t need a license.
