Twin Falls is still recovering from the loss of firefighter, Ryan Franklin, who died in the tragic bike accident on May 18. Friends of Ryan are getting together on Sunday, June 12 to raise funds to help his family.

Summer is almost over, and it has been a busy few months for the local firefighters! Now they want your help as they do their annual Fill The Boot for MDA. On Friday August 7th from 10am to 6pm make sure you stop by (or drive by) the Addison/Locust intersection with your spare change and dollars.

We know that all the firefighters have been busy lately with all the fires - but the Twin Falls firefighters were extra busy with their annual Fill The Boot For MDA Fundraiser. I was lucky enough to go out for a few hours to help them and it was really amazing to see the generosity of the residents in town! In their 8 hours of collecting they raised over $12,000!

Despite the smoke, clouds, and a bit of rain - last Friday, the Twin Falls Firefighters and KOOL 96.5 took over the intersection of Addison and Locust to raise money for the MDA. The annual Fill The Boot For MDA was once again a huge success due to the hard work of the firemen and their families and the generous hearts of the residents of The Magic Valley, many of which went well out of their way
