HBO takes the stage at the ongoing TCA press tour in Pasadena, and the premiere announcements ride with it. Not only does ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 have its official April premiere locked in, but so too does the fourth season of Emmy-winning comedy ‘Veep,’ and the second season of last year’s Mike Judge breakout ‘Silicon Valley!’

Because rumors of a ‘Deadpool’ movie have lingered for many years and years, we’ll always remain a little skeptical that this movie is actually happening for real this time. But, following the news that Ryan Reynolds has officially signed on to star, comes word that casting on the project is ramping up as T.J. Miller (‘Silicon Valley’, ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’) and Ed Skrein (formerly of ‘Game of Thrones’) are in talks to join the upcoming project.

Late yesterday we learned the news that ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 had wrought a large addition to the cast, but the latest shocker from HBO’s epic fantasy-drama, proves even bigger. IMAX big! Not only has ‘Game of Thrones’ partnered with hundreds of theaters for its first ever IMAX TV screenings, but so too will the first season 5 trailer debut exclusively with the larger-than-Westeros event!

The ease with which we access TV becomes more ubiquitous every year, but some shows will always top out demand for piracy. Now, for the third year in a row, HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ has topped TorrentFreak’s annual list of pirated TV show downloads, though a few of the entries on this year’s countdown might actually surprise you.

'Game of Thrones' has drawn plenty of additional buzz in season 5 diverging from its literary roots, but those worried about the HBO fantasy drama's future can rest assured for at least a few years. Not only has the series officially been renewed through a sixth season in 2016, but is principle stars have now signed through season 7 as well.

Dear all other hosts of late night: if you were hoping to somehow sang the 'Game of Thrones' demographic by bringing stars of the hit HBO series on to your stage for a friendly chat, you're going to have to do much, much more than that now. Seth Meyers has bested you in a big way.

HBO subscriptions have been something of a running joke through the TV industry, with a great many of the network's loyal fans sharing HBOGO passwords to avoid expensive cable packages, previously the only mean with which to watch shows like 'Game of Thrones' or 'True Detective.' Now, the company has finally acquiesced, and announced an independent streaming service due out in 2015.

HBO's 'Game of Thrones' has alarmed readers of George R.R. Martin's books from the very beginning, if only that the fantasy-drama adaptation might catch up with, or surpass Martin's notoriously long writing process. Now, as season 5 continues shooting across the world, we may have our first major casualties of that process, as Kristian Nairn (Hodor) says he won't appear in any 2015 episodes.
