Gas prices in Idaho are expected to make a jump in the next few days and stay high into mid-September.

It’s worth the risk and I’ll tell you why.

If you are able to get near water this weekend, it would be a wise move. Expect to see many Idahoans out on the Snake River boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and finding other ways to stay wet.

Although Idaho fire crews have done an effective job stomping out a high number of blazes throughout the state in recent weeks, the risk remains still very high as state officials prepare for the final four to five weeks of the current fire season.

Labor Day weekend is pretty much the last hoorah of summer. Not to mention a wonderful barbecue weekend. We have to know if you prefer to grill or smoke your food this weekend.
