Sometimes, you need to do more than sound it out.

This coronavirus pandemic has opened our eyes to the habits of people including how they think, act, and thanks to the internet we know all about their shortcomings.

I'll admit that I am not even close to a great speller. If it weren't for spell check on this computer you might be confused into think a small(er) child was writing this.

I'm pretty good at spelling (especially with spell check) - grammar and punctuation is where I have issues. So I can look at this map and laugh a little since I know how to spell all of these words.

I hate the way people write when they text! How did we come to this – “OMG its ur BFF c u later k? Lol”? That should not be a sentence! I take extra time with my texting to spell and punctuate. When it comes to typing on the computer though, I (like everybody else) do rely heavily on spell check. And that may be a problem in reality.

Just when I could have sworn that texting is ruining our ability to read and write correctly - survey says "Wrong!" Texting - especially bad texting, is better for your spelling skills.
