A new video posted to incite excitement about winter coming to Idaho has me excited for the snow. I'm still not even close to excited about the cold though.

The Trailing of the Sheep Festival is a yearly tradition in Sun Valley where you can literally watch hundreds of sheep parading through the city streets. The entire festival is a celebration of Basque culture that helped shape the area.

It is almost September, and even if fall doesn't officially start until September 22nd, there are leaves that are going to change within a week or so, if they haven't already slowly started. If you are looking to go check out fall foliage, you better start planning those trips now.

It’s easy to see why these celebs love visiting and some even living in Idaho. We have four beautiful seasons, extensive and easily accessible recreation of all types, and low key living without worry of paparazzi. So what celebrities, be it actors, actresses, athletes, musicians, etc. own a home in Idaho or just come visit on a regular basis?

This week there has been a couple of different avalanche warnings expressed by the Sawtooth Avalanche Center in Ketchum. Several of avalanches occurred this week and a specialist breaks it down, and shows some awesome photos.
