The big famous Idaho Potato Truck is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the road. If you have never had the pleasure of seeing the truck first hand, they post a scheduled tour online so you can try to catch it around.

The Famous Idaho Potato Truck

Think of it like the Idaho version of the wiener mobile. It is a giant potato on a truck that does tours around the United States. You can typically see it at various events. Ironically, it doesn't spend that much time in Idaho. But that is probably because we already know how awesome Idaho potatoes are.

This Isn't The Original Idaho Potato Truck

The first Idaho potato ended up getting turned into an Air BnB or hotel. It is kind of cool. It is a pretty cozy space so make sure if you rent it with someone, it is someone you like being close to. They celebrated 10 years on the road by getting a photo with the potato hotel and the potato used in the potato drop on New Year's Eve. That is a lot of potatoes.

The Potato Team and Checking Out The Tour

There is a full team to make the potato tour memorable. They also have fun potato names like "spudicus" and "spud racer". The potato will be in Blackfoot, Rexburg, Idaho Falls, Boise, and Challis. You can also request an appearance. Maybe we can get it to come to Twin Falls this summer.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
