Twin Falls Council To Finalize Budget
The Twin Falls City Council hopes to finalize the proposed budget for the coming fiscal year this afternoon. The nearly 46-million dollar budget includes over $930,000 dollars for road maintenance. That is a huge increase over the current fiscal year budget with most of the increase coming from cuts in other areas including Parks and Recreation and changes in the city swimming pool management contract with the YMCA. City Manager Travis Rothweiler will as the council to adopt the budget so it can be sent to the county for property tax distribution. The meeting starts at 5 o’clock this afternoon in the Twin Falls city council chambers.
