Twin Falls is an amazing city in Southern Idaho. When we moved here in 2007, we were surprised at how small-town it felt while still having many of the benefits of a larger town, like a Costco, Walmart, and multiple McDonald’s restaurants. The essentials when you have a small family.

That small-town feel was also one of the reasons we stayed here, since the plan was only a few years in Idaho, then move somewhere good. But it turns out, Idaho is that ‘good’ place we wanted. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, though.

These Slogans Should Be on the New Twin Falls Welcome Sign

With all the great things, there have been a few disappointments, and I think some of those things should be addressed on a plaque or billboard somewhere in town or online so people truly know what to expect when they come here. A better explanation of what ‘twin falls’ means and transparency about how much water goes over the falls would be nice for visitors or new residents.

If someone looked up Twin Falls online and wanted an honest description or a city slogan posted somewhere in town, would these be good options?

Honest Twin Falls Welcome Signs

The fact that we turn the waterfall on and off at different times of the year has to be crazy for visitors. Currently, the City of Twin Falls has 'People Serving People' as its feel-good tagline.
