Twin Falls Officials Say New Redistricting Plan Could Hurt City
Twin Falls City Councilman Lance Clow says the result of the redistricting plan recently completed doesn’t sit very well with him and he wants the City Council to discuss the issue at tonight’s meeting.
Until this new plan was conceived, the city of Twin Falls was split into two districts. The new plan calls for Twin Falls to be in its own district. The area west and east of Twin Falls would be in their own separate districts. Clow says that reduces the number of representatives and senators representing Twin Falls city and he has concerns over that. Clow wants the council to discuss the issue at tonight’s meeting. The discussion will take place starting at 5 o’clock this afternoon in the city council chambers. The council is not expected to make any major decisions on the issue today.
