Remember even though the speed limit says 45 or 55 does not mean you should go that fast through the area. Make sure you drive according to conditions. The Twin Falls Sheriff's Office has been helping people get out of snow banks after they have slid off the side of the road.

Rock Creek Road is pretty terrible right now. If you plan on going past Third Fork you are required to have snow tires and chains. It is for your own good. And it is probably best to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle like a truck or jeep.

That being said, if you are capable of getting there safely, head up to Magic Ski Resort because you know the skiing conditions are great right now after all the snow fall. Sledding and skiing are a great way to start the new year. Getting stuck in a ditch is not. Stay safe out there.
