Hawks look beautiful, and are fun to watch as long. Unless, you are in their space.

If you have ever been on a walk, run or bike ride on a Magic Valley country road, and seen a hawk, you may think they are fun to watch until you get in their space.

Once you are in their space, they will probably start aggressively swooping at your head. This sounds like no big deal until you realize they are a foot above your head with every swoop. If you duck when they swoop at you, they get even closer.

This situation has scared the crap out of me. Why do hawks swoop at humans? Will they actually hit a persons head?
