Hello, my name is Benito Baeza the news director for News Radio 1310 KLIX-AM. I have been in the broadcast business since 2003 and I’ve been with Townsquare Media since 2012. I got my start at a public radio station near my hometown in New Mexico and my passion for radio grew from there. During my years as a broadcaster I worked for several radio stations and then got roped into doing TV news for about five years. Eventually I came back to where I truly belong, behind a radio microphone. I’ve lived in southern Idaho for more than a decade and don’t regret it one bit. I love being able to drive just ten minutes out of town and be in a semi-remote area or down in a beautiful canyon. Reach me at benitobaeza@townsquaremedia.com or 208-737-6012.
