How Long Before You Clean Your Car After A Road Trip?
July 10, 2012 11:58 AM The vacation is over and after driving over 2,500 miles for two weddings on different sides of the country – I am extremely happy to be home! Don’t get me wrong, the vacation/wedding road trip was actually a ton of fun…but it is always good to be back home.
Now comes the fun part of trying to readjust to normal life! One of the first things on my list was to clean out the van! Just imagine (if you have never done a road trip with four children) the mess that seems to grow on the floor of the vehicle – there are boxes, bits of cookies, crackers, and candy, wrappers, fast food bags, toys, and probably a few new species of living organisms.
But I was surprised by a photo that my wife sent me this morning that she had already had the kids clean up the trash and vacuumed out the van and it looks almost clean enough to step on without shoes 
So I have to thank my wife for her cleanliness and tell any scientists with hopes of finding new life in the gunk – sorry.
