Is It Time To Take Down The Christmas Lights [POLL]

It has been about 1 month since Christmas and if you still have your Christmas lights up outside...well you are a lot like me! I actually never took my Christmas lights down since 2011 (yes I'm one of those going on 4 years now) and right now it is way too cold to go outside to de-decorate, so it is safe to say that stuff will be up for a while! Some people really hate being cold and others really hate it when the lights are left up too long. Since it is winter and stupid cold that poses an interesting predicament.

I have started working on cleaning up the interior of the house. The ornaments hanging from the ceiling and the snowflakes are all gone. We actually took our Christmas tree down on New Year's day! Ours is an artificial tree so it is an easy take down. If you have a real tree, maybe you could try this method of disposal?
