Once Again A Chinese Crested Dog Win “Ugliest” Title

I don't know what causes all these Chinese Crested dogs to end up looking so hideous, but they always seem to win when it comes to a competition of who got hit by the ugly stick! I have a little dog named Cody, and he is half Crested (his dad is a hairless Chinese Crested) and the mom was a wire haired terrier...also an ugly dog - but they somehow made a super cute puppy!

last Friday, 19 dogs from around the world were at the Marin-Sonoma Fairgrounds in northern California competing in the annual WORLD'S UGLIEST DOG contest.

This year's winner is an eight-year-old Chinese crested dog from the U.K. named Mugly.  For winning, Mugly's owners get $1,000 and a year's worth of dog treats. To compare how this dog could have looked, here is a side by side of my dog Cody and Mugly.
