I love checking out old photos and history from around the area. I have been to Thousand Springs and it is absolutely stunning. But when I came across some old photos of the area it actually looks like there were a thousand springs coming out of the side of the canyon wall.
These miniature towns give us more insight in our history, some are now just plain ghost towns and in some, when visiting you feel like you are in launched back in time yourself.
There are so many amazing towns in Idaho and even though the entire state has less of a population than some large cities, there are a lot of small towns here known for some pretty great things.
Man this is so sad. The historic theater in Burley made the announcement yesterday that they had to close their doors. They are hoping it won't be for forever, but they also said they aren't sure they can reopen.
