When I talked with Debbie Blackwood at the Twin Falls Animal Shelter she told me that spring is definitely in the air, the animals are all twitterpated (so have your spayed or neutered), and that there are way too many animals at the shelter. So our KOOL Kritter this week is every animal at the shelter and they are offering 50% off all dog adoptions today and tomorrow only!

There have still been quite a few reports of stolen dogs. the problem is that most people are reporting them to the Animal Shelter...while you should check with the shelter to see if your dog is there, if you are certain that the dog was stolen you need to report it to the police. Kool Kritter this week is Jake.

There are always a bunch of cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds at the Animal Shelter, and this week we are spotlighting one of each. Yoshi and Scooter are amazing animals in need of loving homes.

Thousands of animals come through the doors of the Twin Falls Animal Shelter every year. Happy is one of the latest looking for a loving home. Happy is a 4 month old female Australian shepherd.  She's a very outgoing and friendly with the other dogs and ignores cats...

Pit Bulls as a breed get a pretty bad wrap...that they are vicious fighters, and they relentlessly attack anything that moves. That isn't a true painting of what a pit bull is. Most pit bulls are kind, gentle, and loyal to people. Finding one that gets along well with other dogs and cats is just a plus. And that is exactly what you get with Blaze.

This weeks KOOL Kritter was named by a three year old boy - he named the dog Horsey. Horsey is a 1 1/2 year old Pomeranian mix.  He is a shy boy but he is also very sweet!  He gets along well with other dogs and also with cats.

The KOOL Kritter this week is a senior citizen...Dizzy is an 8 year old Shepherd cross and an amazing dog! The great thing about older dogs is that their energy level is much easier to have around, they make great walking companions but don't need to go for a 10 mile run every day.

This week for the KOOL Kritter we are featuring two pets - a lovely dog named Ringo and a tabby cat named Frodo. Ringo is a young male dog. He's a 4 month old lab, collie, shepherd cross. Frodo is a young adult male cat. He's a dark grey tabby that has been at the shelter for a very long time...

The animal shelter is still full of adoptable and cute KOOL Kritters! This week we are spotlighting Brewster.

This week we are spotlighting two dogs - and they are adorable little puppies! Mutt is a wire haired mix and will grow to be about 20-30 pounds. Jeff is going to be a bigger dog! He is a St. Bernard mix and will grow to around 80 pounds.

This week the KOOL Kritter is Diesel. She is a Shepherd, Boxer, Aussie mix with a wonderful personality - and she gets along great with other animals!
