I guess being a Twin Falls radio DJ isn't as glamorous as expected. My job comes in at number 180 out of 200 - just behind Farmer and actor!

The website CareerCast.com just released its annual list ranking 200 of the most popular jobs in the U.S. from best to worst.  And apparently, they just have no respect for burly, bearded men chopping down trees and eating pancakes. Lumberjack came in dead last on the list.  It finished just below dairy farmer and enlisted soldier.

--The rankings are based on five key factors:  Physical demands, work environment, income, stress, and hiring outlook.

--Software engineer came in first place on the list . . . it has low physical demands, a good work environment, a strong hiring outlook, and a high salary.

--The top 10 best jobs, in order, are:  Software engineer, actuary, HR manager, dental hygienist, financial planner, audiologist, occupational therapist, online advertising manager, computer systems analyst, and mathematician.

--The 10 worst jobs, in order, are:  Lumberjack, dairy farmer, enlisted soldier, oil rig worker, newspaper reporter, waiter/waitress, meter reader, dishwasher, butcher, and news broadcaster.

How does your job measure in the survey, and do you agree with the results? I don't - I love my low paying but crazy fun job!
