What Do You Do With Your Tax Return?

In a rare case of preparedness - I had my taxes done by early March (even though we just mailed in the Idaho taxes yesterday...but we are working on baby-steps here!) and got my Federal return a few weeks later. That money is all gone now thanks to my credit card balance from last year. I do have a little bit left over though, and if all goes according to plan (and none of the kids has an emergency) I can try to save more than $20 this year.

Are you one of the lucky few who gets a return and actually gets to enjoy it? Or are you in my boat and you enjoyed a little too much last year and had to pay it off now?

What is the best way to spend some tax return cash in Twin? And are you going to need the extra two days this year (taxes are due the 17th instead of the 15th this year)?

If it were up to my wife, I know we would save some of it so she can go on the zip line when it is finished!
