2 Killed in Fatal Crash on Highway 93 South of Twin Falls, ID
In a tragic accident south of Twin Falls, in Southern Idaho, 2 people were killed when their vehicle struck a semi-truck coming from the opposite direction.
2 Dead After Vehicle Collision in Twin Falls County
A portion of US93 in Twin Falls County was closed for approximately 4 hours after 2 people were killed in an accident north of Hollister.
A man and a woman succumbed to their injuries on the scene after their vehicle veered into oncoming traffic at milepost 31 and struck a semi-truck. The semi-truck was forced into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup truck. The report from the Idaho State Police states:
A 60-year-old female and a 64-year-old male, both from Eagle were driving northbound on US93 in a white 2017 Toyota 4runner. The Toyota veered into the southbound lanes and collided with a 2021 Volvo semi-truck, driven by a 48-year-old male, from Albion. The semi-truck then veered into northbound lanes and struck a red 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 37-year-old male from Gooding.
Both occupants in the Toyota succumbed to their injuries on scene. They were wearing seatbelts.
ISP is investigating the accident.
