TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-A medical helicopter had to land early Thursday morning in east Twin Falls for a severe car crash. Twin Falls Police confirmed one male had to be transported by air to an Idaho Falls Police Department. Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.

In new information released by ISP Friday, the person flown to Idaho Falls was a 21-year-old male from Twin Falls identified as the driver. Two teenage boys were also taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center.

At around 12:39 a.m. a ISP trooper attempted to stop a white sedan going at a high rate of speed. The driver continued on until they struck a concrete barrier at the corner of Elizabeth Blvd and Carriage Ln.

The investigation is ongoing.
