Idaho State Police Report Another Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle This Week

We reported on the Northern Idaho child who was hit by a car in a story yesterday, and the details can be found below. We just received the report about the accident in Southern Idaho this morning.

The report from the Idaho State Police says that the accident happened in Bingham County on October 1st, at 7:50 AM near the intersection of E 1400 N and N 735 E.

A 44-year-old male from Shelley was leading a horse westbound on E 1400 N when he was struck by a 2022 Toyota Camry driven by a 33-year-old male, also from Shelley.

The male pedestrian was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. There were no details shared about the condition of the horse, whether it was also hit or safely contained.

Police do not believe the driver of the car was impaired and are investigating the accident.
