If you're an Idahoan struggling with keeping up during this global pandemic, there's help for your utilities and rent.

In one way or another, we have all been impacted by COVID-19.  I know a lot of friends still employed and working even longer hours...as well as friends that lost their jobs or side hustles and are now scrambling to find ways to make ends meet.  The news of this financial relief is coming at a great time and as great news to renters and landlords alike.

The Housing Preservation Program is in place and ready to help those who are behind on rent and utilities OR at risk of falling behind. Recently, they were allocated $5 million dollars to help Idaho families and individuals.

To qualify, your income must be lower than 80% of the median income for your county. To see these numbers, click HERE.

Officials are hoping that for those in need, be it behind on bills or unable to pay upcoming ones, that these funds will help them out--some, for up to six months, and in turn help out landlords that still need to collect rent.
