Byrds Beat Eagles On The Gibson.com List Of The Top 50 American Rock Bands

In honor of the long weekend of independence and celebration for the 4th of July, Gibson.com came up with a good idea. Make a list of the best American rock bands...the only problem - I think they got it wrong. They did good trying to get in different decades and genres of rock, but if you think the Byrds were better than Eagles then I have to disagree. They made that mistake on their list - Byrds with Tambourine Man and Turn,Turn,Turn not only beat Eagles...they alsom beat Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doors, and Beach Boys!
