This Day in History

Sure this weekend we got some snow, it appears winter finally found Idaho. And for those of us (me included) who may be complaining just a tad about the weather, remember the crazy flooding we had hit the Magic Valley last year and the year before?

Back To The Future is one of my favorite trilogies (it's right along side the Bourne movies). Because of that I am really geeking out today! It is finally the day that Marty, Doc, and Jennifer travel to in the future to save their kids.

Today is an important day. It's hard for me to believe that we used to have drinking fountains, restrooms, bus seats, etc. for white's only. The thought of it, still breaks my heart. Thankfully our society heard Martin Luther King, Jr.? “I Have a Dream” speech issued on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and started treating people equally.
