Did The Christmas Music Start Too Early On KOOL

There are now only 46 days until Christmas and counting down, and today was the big music switch on KOOL! Santa came in and brought with him a bag full of Christmas cheer. Of course that cheer included music...and a few candy canes, but did the Christmas music start too early on KOOL?

I feel that you can't have too much of a good thing - and Christmas music and the entire season represents one of the best things to happen to the world. The birth of Jesus Christ. So, some of you are unhappy to lose the Oldies and others are elated that you can listen to Christmas music all the time, I hope that we can all enjoy the reason we are celebrating.

As the programmer of the station each year I have to decide when to make the music change. There are a lot of factors that go into the decision since there are thousands of people listening to the Superhits, and I want to make as many happy as possible. I have been receiving emails and calls for a few weeks asking when we would be changing, my kids have been singing Christmas songs for the last week, stores have had their decorations up for months now, and it feels right to become The Christmas Station.
