It is the final countdown! Election Day is tomorrow, and then for at least the next week all you will hear about on the news is the election and the results...but do you share information on who you voted for with your co-workers?  Have you told your co-workers who you voted for or who you’re going to vote for?

A recent survey from CareerBuilder showed that most people won’t tell their co-workers who they voted for. They do so because they don’t think politics should be discussed in the office.  Thirteen percent keep quite because they think their co-workers support the other guy…and nobody want to get into a political argument at work.

The study also found:

“It is easy for a conversation about politics in the office to become an argument about politics,” said Rosemary Haefner, Vice President of Human Resources at CareerBuilder. “For the most part, people want to avoid controversy in the office as much as possible. Avoiding discussions of politics may be one way they can do that.”
