Every day of our life we gain new information, memories, smells, names, and faces. There is so much in the world to see and learn about! Of course some people learn more useful stuff than others. But, can you have too much information? Does being smart make your brain slow down?Specifically - when you get old. Why do older people seem to slow down and have more trouble remembering information? According to a new study, our brains might slow down as we get older for the same reason your computer slows down if you fill up the hard drive.  Basically, the more you learn the harder it is for your brain to search and find the info you need. Too bad you can't do a brain defrag and get rid of any unnecessary files.
