Not everyone agrees on the tactics being used or the cuts being made, but the DOGE website isn’t shy about touting the numbers: both personnel and monetary.
DOGE Saving Over $20 Million By Closing These Idaho Locations
DOGE has identified 8 buildings in Idaho that have been deemed a waste of taxpayer money. Closing these 8 buildings and ending contracts associated with them will save around $3.5 million yearly and around $21 million total, according to the Department of Government Efficiency website on the ‘Savings’ page under ‘Real Estate’.

The DOGE website lists 793 lease terminations totaling about 10 million square feet and $500 million in savings.
8 Buildings DOGE is Set to Close Now in Idaho
The buildings on the DOGE Real Estate list in Idaho include 3 locations in Idaho Falls, 4 in Boise, and most recently 1 in Lapwai.
