CSI Student Body President Arrested on 15 Counts of Child Porn

The most recent student body president at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls has been arrested following a warrant issued earlier this week.

Dylan Ray is facing felony charges relating to illegal content found on his phone that he had shared with other people.

CSI Student Body President Arrested on Warrant Related to Child Porn Allegations

Dylan Ray was arrested on Tuesday and is facing 15 felony counts of distributing child sexual material. Based on court records and police affidavits, the Idaho Statesman and KMVT detailed the specifics of the case, stating the following allegations:

• Ray uploaded a video file containing child sexual abuse material to Snapchat in January which showed a minor male performing a sexual act on an adult male.
• Officials found 2 phones at the apartment of Ray that they believe were used to share images.
• Officials also found keywords typically used in child sexual abuse cases in online conversations.
• Ray was in contact with a minor at a high school.
• Ray allegedly also used a file-sharing site to distribute video files that included 14 child sexual abuse-related materials.
• Dylan Ray has a $500,000 bond.
• Ray will be in court for a preliminary hearing on May 17th at 8:15 AM.
