Family Boat Sinks In Idaho Storm Sunday

To say that the storm on Sunday was intense would be an understatement. I took a 12 minute video of it and it was crazy. It wasn't unexpected though - we had received a weather warning that the storm wind gusts were a possibility. That didn't stop people from going out on the lakes of Idaho and having fun on their boats...until the storm actually arrived and then it was no longer fun.

The above video shows a boat on the water at Lucky Peak getting battered by waves while waiting to dock. Then right at the end of the video the waves prove too strong for the boat and it begins to sink.

The good news from what I read on the Facebook comments of the video is that they were able to eventually get the boat out of the water.

Remember to take heed of weather notices when going out so you can have a safe and fun filled summer.
